setting down right next to ours, an identical ship
every dimension matching my design in every way
as the hatch opens, figures start to walk out
in shock we gaze as familiar faces emerge

what is this, a mirror image?
can't believe what's before our eyes
must be trickery, deception
who could trick us here, now, why?

the faces we see right before us are our own
each of us staring into the face of older versions
my older self begins to explain
we're billions of years in the past where life begins on earth

striking the beast triggered time-flux
threw us back to this point in time
and we took the beast as well
but it's trapped in the time-stream

suddenly we're somewhere else, another place another time
it all begins to change so fast, different points throughout history
even our older selves are shocked, saying this did not happen before
we fear this is not the time-stream, it seems we've caused a paradox
